The HORTOSOL Premium Heat mat is especially designed for the use with propagators and terrariums and uses the technology of long-wave infrared radiation. This simulates heat from natural sunlight and mainly heats objects and living things. Thus, due to the indirect thermal radiation there is only a small increase in the ambient temperature which has a positive effect of an almost constant relative humidity. To meet the high requirements, the heat mat is covered all over with a protective conductor and is made of water- and rotproof PVC.

User manual:
To avoid any heat accumulation add the supplied spacers to the bottom of your propagator or terrarium.
After that position the heat mat below it. For use with a terrarium place the heat mat only under a part of the floor.
This allows the animal to choose between different temperatures on its own.
